It seems fitting that the first thing I'm displaying here is a quasi-reflection of the original Rashaverak in Arthur C. Clarke's " Childhood's End". The creature I've drawn is different from those described in the book, but the overall affect is the same to me, and that’s all that really matters.
Just a quick sketched reworked through a couple of digital coloring sessions. Nothing special, nothing serious.
Great picture! I love that book. I wanted "Rashaverak" as my name on dev.art, but I doubt I could have drawn him this well. It's very much in the mood of the story.
